Uptiding yesterday on sea-otter 2 once again some really nice fish

With a gap in this blustery weather yesterday was more or less a flatcalmer no wind and a flat sea the tide was big what you would call propper uptiding conditions and fishing only minuites from the harbour what a way to relax.
Squid ,cart and worm were the order of the day but it squid which proved the bait which was taking the better fish we had quite a few cod over 5lb the best went just over 7lb fishing in 60ft of water on light gear these fish give a good scrap.

The best fish of the day a nice cod just over 7lb

Not long after the same lad nails these 2 .

Another nice cod just short of 7lb.

It was this lads turn he nails one between 5or 6lb

And his mates get a nice one.

What i love about the uptiding is taking nice fish from litterally under the cliffs no steaming time .
