Very Slow Access to NESA

It's doing my swede in :casstet:

Plus does anyone know how to get the address of a link to show on the task bar and the progress bar to show up in IE7 please.

seems a bit better now but it's been dodgy for a few days. I went out and had a pint of Old Rosie. Maybe that's the answer! (The Old Rosie may have slowed me down though)

I thought it was just me. It got so slow the other night I packed in. I put it down to viruses that I had to clean but seems better now. The other sites were as normal.

there have been some big dns/routing failures in the uk this week, so depending on your isp/dns it might be a bit crap. mines fine though!

Can't say as I've had any problems.

Couple of nights ago, the site did hang for about 30 seconds - that's as much of a problem I've had.

I'll ask the server guy to take a look, but the server you're on now is IMMENSELY faster than the one you were on a few weeks ago, AND you no longer share the same server as AnglersNet.co.uk, which was killing the old server with its traffic.

It may well be a routeing issue, but I'd be amazed if it was anything to do with the server itself.

Just had the server looked at:

I`d put it down to the routing issues thats affecting the UK network, like Mark said.

No slowdowns on the server at all, from looking at the service monitor, all is well within normal limits and nothing untoward.

The max load average was 1.3, which is very low. Max traffic was 968KB/ps which is about 5% of what the server can handle comfortably, so nothing wrong at all with the server

Are you sure you're OK Mr. Ell ?

Well as can be expected Mr. 6

I have had an unexpected bonus this week in the form of a terrible outbreak of acne on the lower right mandible. In my little head it means I still have the hormones of cone throwing student. In my new-ish bosses mind it spells "Have I employed a glue sniffer?"

charlie, to speed your internet up just reset your isp to GCHQ.gov.uk by missing out the middle man your trafffic might move a bit quicker!

just reset your isp to GCHQ.gov.uk

If, God forbid, I ever need advice on buying a pair of "jean type trouser" I will go straight to the GHQ lot. I know enough not to got to Geordie Jeans though as they are uncool and have a picture of Andy Cap embroidered on the back / hip pocket.
