hi to all im wondering wheather i need to do some sot of radio course and register with the coast gaurd i was told on here i did and was directed to a link whish was free can any 1 help i want it doing b4 april/may thanks

register with ofcom at Ofcom Licensing Centre services | Ofcom

unless its changed, once registered they send you a letter with your password, then you can login, fill out a form and job done, that will be the lifetime licence for the boat

operators licence can be done at a few places, Home is one

there's a free one online at GMDSS Courses - online SRC course with marine NAVTEX receiver and DSC VHF simulator

hi mate been on and registerd and it says i must hav city and gills b4 they can give me a licence and it cost 20 pound thought this was free.do i need to redgier with coast gaurd as well
