been thinking of getting a half kilo spool...for fishing clean to mixed ground..i know tourney cast lads use it for the field but what is it like fishing wise? any used it here for fishin?

totaly agree with you there. not to keen on hi vis stuff myself for fishing that is.

I use the viz line in 20lb /.35 diameter from what I remember there's 5600 metres on spool, i think its spot on for fishn and at £20 a spool it's a cracking price, if there's a few of you buying together you can buy 3 and get the fourth spool free.

my main concern was that viz was gonna be like ultima f1 black(maybe it was the way /where i fish ) .ultima was always brittle after a couple of sessions. the half kilo spool is only £15 . i worry if it was gonna be the case of buy cheap buy twice. having said that it is cheap enuff i guess....oo im still undecided...

Mine has never gone brittle like mate I used it on my field casting reels all last year and my 5 fishing reels last year and this year and its been fine
