Waders advice

Am going to get myself a pair of waders and have been having a look around. I assume Neoprene are the best to get. Are the Daiwa or Ron Thompson ones any good. I have seen these for £50-60. Also if anyone has any size 9 in good condition that they want to sell, please PM me.

In my opinion you get what you pay for, i've had a pair of Snowbee Titanium with studs ( essential ) for years and still going strong, paid £105 for them. My mate bought a pair of Diawa neoprene chesties for £50 and got one season out of them before the boot split where your ankle flexes.........

iv got some ron thompson waders they seem spot on there dont know what material they are but they feel nice and strong, barbour waders are good got a pair of these had them for years but just got a hole in recently and super glueing a bike puncture repair kit doesnt work as i found out when i was filling a buckit of waterup

Snowbee 4 me ,had mine for over 7yrs.However i have a really cheap set of rubber chesties :ofor the beach on winters night. Our beaches are littered with old reinforced concrete blocks that are down right fookin dangerous.

I'd second this, got a pair of the Daiwas and they are crap, freezing cold, feel damp and one of the shoulder buckles went after just a few weeks.

TBH from now on I think I'll be sticking to a floatie and a decent pair of wellies. Unless the sea is raging can't see me needing any more than that.

i had a pair or six of the ron thompson crosswater waders. First pair leaked after 2 uses, 2nd pair after 3 and so on..... (lucky i kept the receipt). I made the smart move and paid £99 for Greys GRXi and never looked back since.

Grey grxi neoprene waders, had a few problems with the ron thompson crosswater neoprene waders very poor boot & a swine to get on & off
