Walkway 2/9/10

Fished the Walkway tonight. conditions were perfect, calm sea, small tide & low wind.

Managed 4 Coalie, 2 sized Codling 1lb & 1 1/2 lb, 1 size Whiting & a donated Flounder

all on a combination of Crab, Mussel and Mackeral (all except the 'donated Flounder' which was caught by Hand lol )

There were plenty of fish bieng caught when I left at 9.30pm saw quite a few double-shots too (caught mainly from the centre of the River)

all in all not a bad night.

tyne fishing well. fished customs house wednesday night for few hours getting few sized codling couple nice flattys + couple of coalys

I was there with Gary.

Lost my ends every cast and then to top it off, my line snapped. Had to abandon all hope of a fish suppa and drove back home to scrambled eggs.

Least I know where it is now. Tonnes of fish caught but nowt for the "Out of towner" !!!

went through abit of line myself aswell 1 snap cast on my first cast which left a nice big over run then got my line cut somehow, well il be filling my reel up for tonight might head back down there or to the pier and see if anything is about, nice meeting u aswell eddie mate

Yep,
Enjoyed the evening very much. All my gear is now washed, oiled and stowed away for my next leave, Oct 11 - Nov 22.
Hopefully come back to UK with a forum full of catch reports.

I think i was fishing to the right of you with me mate. I got tangled with you as you were bringing a fish in, then you with me as i was bringing one in.

We fished from 8pm - 11pm, had 10 fish between us. Codling and coaly, 4 being size. all returned.

Not a bad night.
