Walkway 28/10/11

After havign a canny fun few hours 2 weeks ago decided with the sun out and no wind i would try the walkway again. Never expected much due to the massive tide but was happy with the outcome.

Once again nothing over 1 1/2 pound but had 38 fish out in 4 hours using two rods.

14 coalie
13 whiting
3 codling
3 sea scorpions
2 dab
1 flounder
1 rockling
1 pollack

Nice few hours baits used ragworm, crab and mackerel.

Nice one Richy - Just fished Roker Beach tonight - 2 hours, 1 Flounder - Then give the Rathouse a shot - Had one chuck and pulled in a massive hunk of weed. Save the bait for tommorrow Me thinks.

Good fun 2 at a time most casts but they just small with most around the 1lb mark and the odd coalie much smaller,everyone was pulling whiting in 1 or 2 a cast when the tide dropped.

May force myself to a beach sesh soon but i dont often land much beach fishing.

Sounds like your a bit of an expert! how many sizeable fish did you catch then?

would say sizable fish 13 maybe 14 but both the codling being undersize.

same nice coalie, 1 nice flounder and then the whiting made up the bigger fish.
