Walkway 5/4/2011

Sometimes it just can't be helped!
Take last Sunday as we were heading up river to Royal Quays, one of the Nissan car transporter vessels was leaving. We had to make way and come closer to the North side. To those fishing Smiths Dock and up river towards Royal Quays, apologies for hitting any lines but it was'nt intentional.

We had a problem yesterday where a small craft from royal quays (i think) came very close when we wre fishing brighams (Codgers corner). He or whoever only done this to avoid the tyne ferry coming in but he could of veared off to port and gone around it instead of making us **** ourselves as we didnt see hime coming...

Just noticed this is me 600th post:yltype:... woohoo!!!:D

Blyth,s the same in the last 3 weeks ive seen the pilot take out 4 peoples lines , one lad lost an expesive rod and one lad fishing with his granbairns nearly lost his on sunday , the lad on the boat was shouting "how much of the river do you need" ive fished blyth for a few years now and he,s never come in that close untill the last month or so , so now i spend more time looking left and right than watching my rod for bites
