fished first light this morn used blacks and crab bth frozen ,fished for a few hrs whiting and more and more and more whiting undersize.
nice morning though nice to be out.

it could cost you a fortune feeding the whiting pity they were undersize guy next to me had the same plus a coalie while i was there plus also a flat further up.

seemed very deep to me was,nt expecting it as deep as it was plus snag free today and another plus not pestered by boats coming in unlike the north side.

tides are pritty slac ATM different ball game when they get a bit bigger.loads of whiting over the week down there .i had a good few size on tuesday and going for a sesh tommorow.just a touch more colder and the cod will be getting caught down there.

Fished there Friday night, again nothing but undersize Whiting.
Pulled in a good size edible crab, felt like a decent fish when it was coming in but it was not to be.

yes nice to be out love the sea air and imho i think the tyne takes a lot of beating for fishing but saying that you do realy well at the wear.
