Walkway then Brighams 19-04-12

After a day of heavy rain and no sign of it easing I thought it would be a fun night to go out fishing. So wrapped in waterproofs and armed with a selection of baits I headed down the walkway. Got there about 8pm and unsurprisingly there was nobody else there. I set up about three quarters of the way along in front of the steps. First cast got me a tommie using mackeral bait. About an hour later I got a whiting on raw prawn then nothing else. I had rag, lug and squid but nothing was touching them. I lost four sets of gear to snags but that's the walkway

The rain stopped about 10.30pm and it was a lovely evening after then. With no fish biting I decided to have a change of venue and moved down to Brighams about midnight. Fished for a couple more hours and caught a nice dab on ragworm.

Well Thunderpants m8t the weather has/nt been good these last couple days but you beat the odds and went out there and done your biusness a great session with catches and nice pics too so well done m8t
