set off today with high expectations after last mondays catch of nearly 100 fash to keep! however H.E. were soon dashed as the fashing proved to be hard going.it must have been hard work in other places as one of the tyne boats was having a scout round the skeers.one lad from stanley used wd40 with great success(on his bait) another lad was short of food so ate a few cod eyes.must have been watchin thon bear fella.the weather was pretty true to forecast.roll on the next jaunt

Well if you catch 100 fish everytime it becomes no as fun, thats what makes it fishing

Good for sea sickness cod eyes ....... they would make me sick anyway , I've heard about the wd40 but never seen it done , might give it a try one day. Better luck next time
