Set sail at 8am out past the break water into a turbulent sea went straight out to the scarrs and found cod and coalies on the 1st drift jeff put us back over again with a few more decent sized cod. Moved to another mark where the fishing started to slow down with the odd codling coming onboard.
The fishing for the rest of the day remained the same very slow with the odd fish coming up. Jeff tried his hardest to find us the fish but it just wasn't happening we were then forced to take shelter behind the island due to a rain storm and big seas (bad crack when ur looking up at the water )
Felt sorry for 2 lads at the back of the boat that spent most of the day throwing up over the side.
Back over to cresswell where we took a few more small fish heavest of the day was about 7lbs roughly I managed 5 fish 4 codling to about 4lbs and 1 pollock a few went back, only 20 odd fish at the end of the day
Big thanks to jeff his crew and the other lads we fished with was a hard day for all of us even just trying to hold on very enjoyable
