Watch out for Crab Traps Going Missing

i heard this on the radio today ,so i rang Radio Newcastle - it is only in the area stated - but the wife i spoke to said they might look at most of the tyne both north and south - because of - get ready for this lads - "LOADS OF WASHED IN TYRES ALONG THE BANKS " - i sniggered a bit and said they may not have been washed in !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Didnt even notice the date - but they were on about doing a clean up job in the river ,so i looked on line to let you read it yourselves - wrong article.wrong year in fact !!!!


we will see if they do take tyres as thats what was said

think it was down in the Tees area a couple of years back, they looked at the eefct the tyres where having, they came to the conclusion that they where stopping errosion along the river banks etc and decided to leave them

i know 2 lads who have had there tyres riped out in the last few days not by the tide either
