I know I know its a fishing site, but lets be honest there`s not much boat fishing getting done at the minute so maybe just a little light relief ............. ;)

Just as remote Norman but as you have set the precedent....I have, for the first time in my life..........responsibility for a mobile phone....no tittering in the back there....at school we have two trips abroad this Easter, one a History trip to Berlin (don't mention the war) - they went on Friday morning and another group skiing in Kitzbul....they should have boarded the ferry an hour ago at Dover. I am the emergency contact back home, though as we have the grandson as well there should be some escape clause lol. When I looked at the contact details the first name on the skiing list was a 16 year old I teach Maths. She has a medical complaint.....travel sickness, mostly travel sickness on the road but as she hasn't been on a boat yet............hope they have a big bucket 'cos it looks a bit sporting going across the cut tonight. Hope I can find the right button if it goes off tonight.

ps Wish I was tucked up the back of the North pier at Cullercoats tonight at low tide, then park the rod and out with the torch beachcombing..................happy days.

Great pics Norman.

My son joined the Air cadets a few months back, he was out flying a week or two back, he had a great time.

I'll try & dig out the pics.

Aye stores it`s not a good time for a crossing ........... with a northerly (like we got) its bad all the way not just one side of the pond.

Keith, if he`s interested your more than welcome to bring him along to the blyth flying field , lots to see lol ........... also again if interested you can have a tour at consett where we make lots of bits for the real things , not spitfires I`m afraid but A380, A320, Hawker business jets etc. no probs.
