Have not heard much myself bud and doubt there will be anything decent about at the moment.

Lad on here said he seen a nice codling off the steps a week or so ago

the heugh will always give you some sport when these winds drop. middleton will have a few whiting over high but be a lot slower.

if your fishing tonight expect to get very wet.

tonight you'll be fishing the tide back aswell which isnt good for whiting on middleton, unless your fishing right through the night.

i got your pm and replied and have spoken to steve who you also contacted.

It's not to bad getting on mate bit trickier getting off just try and keep ya tackle to only what ta need and you'll be fine

Aye be careful mate it sure aint an easy one and a nasty fall if you mess up - have a look in the light before you go on.
The bars you use are not wide and it is difficult in the rain, as said it also seems to be harder getting back off.

Also when your going on if you have your box on be careful not to make the mistake of setting your foot down to then be knocked off balance by your box hitting the gate supports!

You could fish before the barrier mate a very underrated spot that's been throwing a few fish out of late always worth a shot at high water try to vary your distance for best results
