what do you think just out of interest what are your views

I cannot see everybodies problem with this thread like...

fishfingers is a canny bloke and a friend of mine and is only trying to express the issue of 'care for your catch'. I myself used to do what fishfingers is talking about when fishing matches, but I know now to recongnise an undersize fish and imediatley return it to the water, THEN attach another rig and cast oot.

What he's saying is absolutely correct, each and everyone off us have to care or our fish that we catch, as if we release it, that could be the fish of the future that our children or grandchildren could later catch,(not that I have any children it grandchildren like...:D)

your posting in wrong place.

your posting in wrong place.

catch a fish or even 2 at a time take them off cast another bait out unhook the the fish you just caught weigh them then throw them over the pier wall which is a canny drop?

this forum is for shore catch reports its not facebook.

And the problem with that is???.Is he going be shot or reprimanded for posting in catch reports, does it annoy you so much that you have to call the post crap!!!
In a way it is about catching fish, also look back through some post on this section, there will be posts that have nothing to do with a catch report, then in the shore fishing in general section, you will find a catch report, So what!!!

by the way bill craggs so sorry for posting in the wrong section my humblest apologies even though it,s a crap post.....had quite a few views

I think/thought he was refering to my post in your thread mate. I don't think there's owt wrong with your thread whatever section it's in anyway.

Same here...

So what if its in the catch reports, as 'marksworld' said this is a thread about CATCHING fish and how we release them from a fair height and take care of the fish we catch:)

All you can do is try your best to get your catch back to the water safely but sometimes not every fish goes back and this sometimes cant be helped.

Ah bet every angler has had a fish float but its going back into the food chain. Its not like your throwing tons of dead fish over the side of a boat needlessly.

Hello,
Also another side to this is that we don't need to give the anti-anglers any ammunition. I think that we should try and show that we are responsible when we are in the view of the public.
Good post Stan.

Regards Ian

nowt wrong with fishfingers post andy i was just stating that its not always possible to save every fish that aint goin on the plate mate and i totally agree that gettin ya next bait out before the welfare of ya catch is out of order. Cheers alan
