Just read this on the Main Page,not really sure how it will go hopefully they wont interfere in each others products and leave things as they are.Shakepere dont appear very popular in this area as they dont produce gear for Heavy North East beaches/rocks so they probably get overlooked in the shops,there Long beach rods seem to be very popular though,saying that you see more people using Penn reels than rods generally speaking,most people tend to stick to Conoflex,Century,Greys,RT (Ax),Daiwa for there beach/rock rods,so its probably "horses for courses" and no doubt Shakespere/Penn rods are more popular than the above in other UK area's and countrys.

Im gutted as i think the more choice the better.
When there is a takeover of any kind there is always a cut in service of one form or another.
