Had a nip down today to see what was getting caught only to see the ratty is now totally fenced off. I find this shocking, anyone know how long it's been fenced off for?? Next question has anyone got a key ;-)

And instead of fixing it they spend loads of money putting a fence round
it to stop lads getting on sunderland council a load of **** they should be
spending money on fixing it not fencing it off.:mad:

it aint that easy Eddie, its a massive expensive job, simple facts are that Sunderland council have no cash, they cannot afford to fix the roads never mind a crumbling useless pier,it needs pining to the seabed as at present its just sitting on base rock with no means of being attached, the cheapest option by far was to fence it off until the repair is done when ever that is,it would take a storm of biblical proportions to break the pier off the land and dump it in the river but health and safety state it could happen so they had no option but to fence it off, bloody barmy I know but that's the facts,Ive been in the meetings mate ...

Expect nowt else from the council Andy that's all they say we have nee money and when they do have money they waste it on a gate that's rusting already.:mad:

was reading in the echo the other night the chief executive of sunderland
council get £250.000 a year wages and they say they have nee money
well they are full of ****.:mad::mad:

I bet its a Looney Left councill, we had one which at the time paid the guy in charge of the parks more than the PM its shocking how much they waste.

they even had a regeneration scheme and sent the work out to a different area mindless idiots
