20lb Main Line & 40lb Shot thats what i use m8, unless its winter fishing then 30lb Main Line & 60lb Shot

i have an abu 7000 with 20lb imax hypercast on it and an abu 7000c3 with 30lb imax hypercast and have had no problems matey

your shock leeder should be 10 lb per how many ounce sinker you use . ie 40 lb shocker for 4 oz lead.
