watched the you tube clip and it looks quality but will it work in the sea .i think its worth a shot

Aniseed oil works well for Whities when used on fish baits baits, best with Macky.
The oil is the best but very hard to get now.Aniseed escence isn,t half as good.
Don,t over do it.A capfuul of oil in a plastic bag with 2 macky fillets already cut into strips, shaken and left overnight.

:Dunless its marinated or injected no addative is going to last any time in the sea:D

theres gear for catching fish and theres gear for catching anglers, and addatives are for catching anglers:D:D:D

better off letting the bait go off rotten for a week or two.
clam and runny down a guddin for this.

if not wd40:D

lol I got some of that stink stuff to try on sunday I bought the peeler crab one hehe
lets just see never no till you try :)

WD40's main purpose is to break down heavy oils, displace water and leave a thin layer of viscous oil which provides lubrication and protection from moisture.. when wd40 is sprayed on any oily fish the oils in the flesh start to break down and get released into the water quicker, i've heard of people using pigs liver for whiting eels pollack wrasse bass ect too, ;)

I've always felt this was more of a river techique than a sea one with the oils, but last year I fished along side some one off the beach and I blanked and he had whiting and a 4pound bass biggest bass I've seen to. all because he dipped his baits in peeler oil, coinsadence.......

i have been using andys bait rag worm oil/juice/attractor and menhaden oil
The rag stuff is supposed to be 80% rag worm and it really does stink exactly like rag worm!
been soaking some chopped up makky and dirty squid over night in a Tupperware box giving a a bit of a shake now and again
Whiteys go crazy for it so its no good if your trying to keep them off the hook
i tried putting a piece of plain mackerel into a dish of water and the soaked stuff, the marinated stuff looked like a oil slick
