Just a quick question, whats your views on the now almost unuseable photobucket ....... (well my end is unuseable)
I reverted back to the old style when I could but now (it seems) it's compulsory to use the latest version which I find works on some of my pcs but not on others but always frustrates me.
does anyone have a good alternative, i have tried a couple (and made a few posts with them) but none as good as photobucket was in it's original form.
Maybe motzilla would be better but would prefer to stick to IE if possible

cheers

If you have an iPhone mate try the tapatalk app works every time for me I could never get away with photobucket

I use photobucket as a photo editor and they changed it last year and was much better with being able to merge different pictures with lots of other options etc but now they have made it very basic again with not many options, A good free alternative is Gimp but it is quite hard to use like photoshop just depends what you are using it for to host pictures or edit them ?
There is also imageshack but i havent used that for years so have no idea what it is like now, I also find chrome and slim much better than mozilla and IE

hi lads, cheers for prompt replies, yeah just for hosting for files for posts, I use photoshop for editing ......
I have tried imageshack and thats probably the next best. I think photobucket was spot on in its original form (for hosting) but now its a nightmare, slow, freeze etc etc

cheers again lads

Couldn't agree with you more on photobucket Norman..........they obviously have never heard of the old adage "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!" So frustrating. My youth theatre people recommended instagram, they are usually pretty clued up so going to try that.

I’m not having any problems with it Norman. As a trial I’ve just uploaded a picture and copied the URL all in about 30 seconds. I only use it for dumping pic’s that I want to post, and not as a big storage area for loads of photo’s which may make using it a bit quicker.

Just re-read your post and noticed you’re using IE. It works OK for me with Firefox, which is worth a look.
