Didn't that happen to lad on the North side of the tyne? He was accused of fly tipping in the tyne but the court dropped the case as the tyres were being used as and I quote 'crab sanctuaries' and where not damaging or causing problems in the shipping lane, etc.

i agree with andy- i have seen waco s his tyres are out of the way like a lot of others but there were some on the middens i dont know if they are there this year they are a right eyesore and should be removed

andy it was one of the lads that fished out club comps :rolleyes:
 
I ain't got my own traps, neither have I the time to collect my own crab, I'd like to, but would rather spend my precious spare time fishing!
I can understand lads being furious having traps raided, I think its better to ask rather than steal.
Feel free to pm me if anyone gets a surplus! Beer money waiting! :)

Sorry lads 50 crab shelters been set today is it true that drain pipes are could crab shelters nd wat other things are gd to use apart from the tires used as crab shelters
 
thing is people put all these tyres down and the result is theres less crabs on the rocks.

fortunately i know decent folk who let me do their tyres now and then as i only take what i need and dont empty the beach like most greedy people. as always these crab wars are fueled by greed and am sorry but digging them in aint that hard a job, i know i used to when i had the time.

there's no need for it really andy but if someone wanted a go over a few tyres then i wouldnt be backing down..

like i've said though i know reasonable people who dont mind me doing them now and then as am not a greedy person :)
 
Tyres in a river then there anyone's simple as that.9 times out of 10 its the greedy ****s who flog them to the local tackle shops that complain!!!

crab season aint kicked off yet and people are kicking off with each other haha a see things aint changed in 20 years ive been away from sea fishing
are a few crabs worth people getting done in[seen it happen long time ago] and people getting nicked for assault me a dont think so

Why on earth do you want that many tyres surely you wont be able to use that many crab in a year
