me and sinky fished the walkway and got talking to a bloke who said there was a young lad who had his fishing gear taken from him at knife point by 4 other lads who were passing so becarefull when fishing this mark alone while we were there there was about 10 lads drunk throwing abuse at us

A was there sunday till 8.30pm amd there was no other anglers about after 7pm, just the friendly neighbours.

I've said it before and say it again, I just hate the fu**in place (walkway) even if it can hoy up some stonkers. I suppose you can't blame the residents for being peeved even though it's got nowt really to do with anglers, or the majority of them anyway. All they'll hear is noise and comotion and just associate the two automatically.

Who can blame them these days,don't waste words jump to conclusions seems to be the thing in our modern day, as most people do not want a confrontation, bring back National Service and Hanging.
was the bloke who told you from southampton? ive spoke to him a couple of times around south shields and he has told me about it. ive stopped night fishing on my own down there now, which is a bit of a pain since i have no one else to go with so now i have to drive further to go night fishing

there is some right nuttas about poor kid hope it doesn,t put him of fishing in the future ! i fished there yesterday had a flounder about a pound then a codling about pound and a half on fresh crab , then went to pier 1st gate had a small coalie fished with alan the viking but he blanked , still good to get out

I was talking to the guy at the walkway from S'hampton also on Sat. (With the smart jumper & tash?!)
Do you guys know him/talk to him often ? He seemed to tell me a number of various stories (as well as ask a lot of questions) but it was 1st time I have met him and tbh was very unsure of how to take him. Seemed very friendly tho lol
I fished there Sat & Sunday and seen no hassle myself, though I was not there late either day.
