which club?

looking perhaps to join a club for the craic and mebees the odd comp. any reccommendations (spelt right:question travelling from prudhoe so not too far afield please. probs prefer north of the tyne but open to all suggestions, ta in advance.....:red:

tynemouth club mate you cant beat it there's a comp on sunday at tynemouth pier fishing from 10.00 till 14.30 fiver to join then £2 per match if you fancy it get there for about 9.15

Longbenton & Seaton Burn SAC may be of interest too! Subs are £10 per year with nothing else to pay ie there are no fees per match. We have fishing matches on Tynemouth Pier as well as rovers and night matches.

if you want to fish a cash match fish granty's match mate meet at newcrown,south shields fiva per man got to b they for before 630, match times 630 till 1030 got too be back at the new crown for before 1030 to weigh in your fish(this match is only heaviest fish,but also a league with all weight calculated up at end of season) fish any where too

if i was to sign up for the tynemouth club or longbenton/seaton burn clubs is it possible to fish tynemouth pier any time, do you get a key or summit, or is the fishing there strictly monitored eg club comps/ sunday mornings and the like?

these cash matches sound canny, a good starting point for a novice. will have to keep an eye out for them in the future. cheers boys

The clubs who fish Tynemouth pier do so at the permission of Port of Tyne - and then only on days which have been "booked" by that club. You do not get a key and sare only allowed to fish the lower level with your club on their designated days.
