Which f/s reel

Just bought a secondhand daiwa supercast bass rod, can anyone
recomend a decent f/s reel to go with it, will mainly be using it
on clean ground surf beaches, thanks.

Cant go past a shimano 5000/6000 size for me,always a good secondhand selection on ebay.

Any type of big pit reel will do the job ieaiwa emcast,TF Gear V8,Daiwa Emblem,as all these types of reels have long spools,which is better for casting and they hold braid well as many carp anglers use them for spoding,hope that helps.

Have a look at the Rovex reels I have just got a Ceratic 6000 reel for plugging very smooth reel

Cheers for the advice lads, got a shimano ST6000RA baitrunner with a 8000
spare spool, took it to the ratty today, perfect combi, had about 18 whitie,
7 good keepers for fish cakes.

Have a look at the Rovex reels I have just got a Ceratic 6000 reel for plugging very smooth reel

I bought the Rovex (Jarvis Walker) Crosa 6000 to go with my Daiwa Seahunter bass rod. It reels in a full house of mackies effortlessly. Brilliant reels for the price.

Thats an understatement mate, tv was still rolling from side to side while
