I will start off by saying hi as i am a new member to this forum, I have just moved down from the north of scotland tothe bedale area and i will be looking to fish the local shore line of north yorkshire and hopefully meeting some of you out there on the rocks and beaches..

ok let me continue with my little question to you all. i am looking at one of three reels but can not make up my mind so i am hoping for a little help from you guys in making up my mind.

reet first is the SL20SH as i have the SL30SH and think it is great

the second is the SLX20SHA

finaly the third is STT20H

so if there is anyone out there who can help me make up my mind please feel free to comment.

Wecome to NESA, unfortunately I don't feel qualified to help directly. You might want to look at a couple of reels though, one for clean beaches and one for the rough stuff.

welcome to nesa mate, i use a sl30sh for the rough stuff and a penn 525 supermag for the clean ground. hope this helps :)

Same here, Sl30sh for the rough stuff, 525 Mag for the lighter.

Used to use the Sl20sh & sl30sh combo before I got the Mag and they catered for all my fishing needs, excellent combo.

Again, SLOSH 30 and 525 mag.

Sloshes can be picked up for a bargain...don't worry they are the 'old' model now...they're more than good enough.

If you have a 20 and a 30 you will get by in most situations and will be able to fish rocks, rivers and beaches throughout the winter without much bother. Good luck.
