the kompresser ss is a good all round rod mate had a fair few rods but always go back to this camt go wrong .... john

Hard to say, depends what type of fishing your looking to do...all the kompressors are beefy and will do you for heavy ground.

Love my Kompressor SS - best rod I have by a mile.

Also got the J-Curve but that was an expensive mistake.

Got to agree with the kompressor ss votes here, I have one I use only for river and beach marks even though not all that heavy of ground but just had to buy it for the bargain I got. Ideal all rounder.

Never used the kompressor s but i've got the kompressor grand prix and must say it's great for casting, i've used it everywhere from the river tyne, on the beaches to the kelp beds up northumberland with out any problems.
At the end of the day it's more about personal taste for every one that says a rod is good another will think the opposite

As above, everyone's different. I have a SS and am not a fan, yet people rave about them. Yet love the wr300 and absolutely love the c curve, so much I now own 2 of them.
