Got in from work tonight and my wife tells me that there was a package delivered for me thismorning........from Bells Whisky :exclam:

\"Oooooh\".......I thought :P

Sure enough, lying on my desk was a box - from Bells.........

It wasn\'t a very big box.......no way could there be a bottle in it :(.............mebbies a collection of miniatures :P........so I opened the box..........

It contained a letter and a booklet \"Years In Oak\"

To keep my anticipation going, I decided to read the letter, but still left the booklet covering the contents of the box.
The letter went into detail about the whisky is matured in oak casks to attain its\' full flavour and mentioned their single malts, \"Blair Athol\" , \"Caol Ila\" and \"Dalwhinnie\". :D :P........

But then the letter kept going on about the oak casks......and then mentioned them again........and again.......

By this time, I was curious to find out wjat lay beneath the booklet, \"Years In Oak\"........so.........decided to take a peek.......

WHAT THE?.........

Took it out of its\' little box........

IT\'S A PIECE OF THE xxxxxxx OAK CASK !!!!!!

Very nice, Mr. Bell.........thankyou VERY much :(

Lol :exclam:

never mind Tony,if they send you another 1000 you might be able to squeeze enough out of them to fill a bottle :)

Wow bet you\'re well happy with that Tony ,how about you grind it down to sawdust and snort it ,there has to be alcohol in there somewhere .
Hey the people that sent you that are indeed a bunch of Bell ends lol.
What are they thinking of?

Lol Steve.......I was gutted......hahahaha

In a fit of \"peeve\", I was thinking about putting a little something of my own history in the little plastic box and sending it back to them with an accompanying letter detailing what it originally was, how it was prepared and cooked and how long it took to digest and mature in my own colonic \"cask\"..............decided against it, though........lol

Well....lol.......a couple of sample miniatures would\'ve made all that packaging and the postage worthwhile. Dunno how many they\'ve sent out but I reckon it\'s a definite waste of money and packaging (I\'m with you on that one, Sless :( )
