Whitby 6th September

Fished out of Whitby today with Jim on the Charisma, left harbour at 6:45 Ish and we headed straight to a few wrecks and some rough ground a few miles out and we were into decent ling straight away, we then moved around to various other wrecks and marks as the fishing became quite so we headed down to robin hoods bay to take shelter!! Where I picked up a few more fish as did all the lads on the boat, all in all plenty ling and there were only 3 cod on board all day, all ling and pollock were taken on muppets, daylight, pirks and fresh bait. In the end I ended up with the biggest fish at just over 12lb but nevertheless a enjoyable day out

Jim on Charisma is a great Skipper. Last Summer we had an amazing day out with a huge amount of fish...........and got a lesson in fish gutting, as his mate Dave did them all for us ! We paid £25 for 10 hours - an absolute steal !

Missed him this Summer, but hope to go out again in the Spring.

Yeah totally agree its £35 all day and I must of been out with him 10+ times this year and had good results! He is a good skipper, likes a good bit laugh and carry on and compared to some of the boats out of Whitby for what they charge we have had just as good fishing!

He must have put his prices up, either that or we got it cheap because Lynn flirted with him !
