Great article - that is what it is all about. Bet there was some hollering and shouting when that hit the deck. Well done that man and well done Rich Ward if you read this.

Probably the best post in the Boat section in my time as a NESA member........

Great stuff Alan. Well done.

Thanks,
Jeff.

Would like to take the credit but i cant i just posted what i was sent, the credit of the story goes to Rupert himself and the photos to Rich Ward who sent me them.

I think you do deserve some credit Allan for getting it published the way you have, put it down to a joint effort ,You, Rupert, and Richard. The story will do a tremendous ammount for firing the enthusiasm of all Norht East anglers.to say nothing abouth clearing out the tackle shops for miles around of large stainless hooks on wire traces.

Great story and well done all involved.
Bert, if you need them big hooks, they are in my rig wallet, crimped to 250lb wire traces.

Have just seen the video of the catching of the porbeagle, cracking viewing. We will be trying to get it up on the site. Watch this space
