anyone been catching any decent whities north of the tyne?

there have been some good whities caught a lot well over 1lb 8oz.

FUrther south always seems to be the best for whities, Roker pier, Hendon and Rathouse some of the better whiting spots but i always find a flat sea with a frost and at night always brings them on the feed.
