17 anglers fished today - down a bit probably due to something called football plus the Rutherfords league kicking off today - still, 10 anglers managed to find few fish (and especially hard lines to the unfortunate lad who unwittingly fished out of bounds at Beadnell, having what may well otherwise have been the heaviest fish)

1st - Steve Williams - 6 fish 14lb 8oz
2nd - Scott Davison - 3 fish 6lb 10oz
3rd - Garry Appleton - 3 fish 4lb 4oz
4th - Chris potts - 2 fish 3lb 12oz
5th - Gary Wilson - 2 fish 3lb 11oz
6th - Callan Stevens - 2 fish 3lb 10oz
7th - George Hornsby - 2 fish 3lb 6oz
8th - Dave Delaney - 1 fish 2lb
9th - John Hepton - 1 fish 1lb 9oz
10th - Nigel Gemmell - 1 fish 1lb 7oz

Heaviest Fish - Steve Williams 4lb 1oz

Bedlington Open in two weeks time so our next match is at Beadnell in 3 weeks time.

Very unfortunate for him.. I fished up there today a saw the fish.. Said it was around the 5.5lb mark..
