Is it any good fishing from the promenade opposite the carpark just before the causeway

Fished it 3 times for 1 rockling, heard it fishes well in a big sea but that goes for most marks in the area in winter months.

Worth a try but better marks in my opinion.

I know a guy who had a cod of 17lb about 3 year ago!!! some very big fish taken from there northerly conditions best weeds up on a southerly.

Check it out at low water on a big tide and you'll see the holes but like Steve says, in the right conditions it gets full

Whitley Beach itself is also a good shot mate...on a dying sea or just after a big blow...some peeps reckon a HUGE sea...but I'm not convinced as the few times I've fished one it's been near impossible to fish

Lot's of good low water marks to be had along the whole stretch
