:thumbdown:alreet all, is anyone thinking about having a go at the comp this saturday, i must say its not looking to good with flat seas, and big tides very much the trend, however if things change i might chance it, so wishing all those who have already decided to give it a go tight lines and all the best, regards korky.

Sea's supposed to come away on friday, then drop during saturday - currently showing 3-5ft swells for saturday evening, which should be canny if it comes true!

Cheers - I'm hoping to improve on last year's 3rd place, but given my recent run of bad luck who knows....maybe it's turnaround time!!

yep & always seems 2 b blyth beach & whitley beach that chucks up the fish alan m8 & it always seems 2 have a good sea running 4 it, good luck 2 every1 who fishes.
i have our xmas fair on friday night so wont make it this year gary m8 but looking at 4cast its gonna b hard going 2 find a mark 2 fish on friday.

Yeah Bill, I see it's forecast for about 11ft S/E swells for friday evening...might be worth a chuck on Blyth pier? Possibly even West Bay but I prefer there in a big northerly; I guess a lot'll depend on just how big it gets on the night.
