I'm afraid dwindling prize tables are a reflection of the fact that fewer & fewer anglers bother to support club opens - whereas we had 600plus on a saturday & 800plus on a sunday when it was a 2 day event 30 years ago, these days most clubs are lucky to get a turnout of much over 200 anglers. Sad times I'm afraid.

Well ive decided im gonna try my luck on sunday, nothing ventured and all that. Im glad we can register at local tackle shop's as i find it quite intimidating registering along side top local anglers, but im lookin forward to it.
