Whitley Pipe today!

Fished today for a few hours.
Lost a good Pollock as it dived into the kelp, couldn't stop it!!
Got another shortly after at 2lb.
Caught a few codling, one probably just size.Nearly got a Mackerel which dropped off at my feet. I was standing in 6 inches of water so it just sat still for a second and then shot off none the worse for wear.
Nice day to be out anyway.

Was on there on fri night.lost one which also dived into kelp,felt like a nice fish.didnt get another touch though so you done better than me mate.

I love fishing for them for just that reason.

Was fantastic seeing them dive right at my feet in the clear waters of SW Scotland a couple weeks back, even the little ones put up a good fight and really do dive right till the last.
