Who have you met?

Irving Nattress when I was a kid, Lady Di when she opened the new plating line at ISL in S/Shields and George Best at Narita Airport, Tokyo.

Could have met the Queen when she officially opened Siemens as my 30th birthday fell on the same day, but I opted to stay on nightshift as I could start celebrating 6 hours earlier that way :o

hughie green...what a guy! - would of loved to have met him!

ok, for the nerds out there, I\'ve met both Steve Jobs and Bill Gates, and yes I can confirm the rumours that bill gates is not that familiar with the concept of soap or deodorant, and jobs whilst a brilliant visionary is the ultimate control freak

worked with Tom Baker & Pat Coombes when I was a bairn (anyone remember the book tower?)

done business with howard marks once

nearly came to blows with Jimmy Nail when he was filming spender (tosser), used to hang out with lemmy and filthy phil taylor when i was living in london, and a few other grand ol\' men of metal!

thoroughly nice chap award has to go to Bob Geldof, did some work for his internet company about 4 years ago. Speaks his mind but doesn\'t dump on people

I\'m gonna start hanging out with you Mark, Motorhead eh?

Forgot to mention, I met Uli Jon Roth (ex Scorpions guitarist) in Newcastle, great lad.

Jim, autographs in the post, I\'m humbled mate :D

Lemmy wasn\'t the world\'s greatest conversationalist, any club we\'d go to he\'d make a B-line for the fruit machine and pretty mucg stay there for the duration, but that would give rise to origin of his name when he ran out of change - \"lemmy have some change\"

Stereotypical rock star house in Hampstead, huge rooms, no furniture, scruffy couch, piano and guitars

Norman politely smiled at me when my seatbox strap came loose and I nearly lost the lot over the pontoon at last years NESA boat comp.

I knew I should have got his autograph when he paused :D

LOL and Norman is fast Norman when he pulls alongside and fishes off ya starboard bow then nicks off cos u got no fish then beats u back to the pub. Dont be suprisded

Spent a week indirectly with Jim Dobie, Alec Harvey and Tony Anderson in th isle of man in 1984 - best weel of my life. Can\'t thank Jim enough for his advice, not just in that week, but he was always telling me to go over to the kirkcudbright matches in the 80\'s early 90\'s.

Fantastic bloke, and fantastic angler.
