No classic stuff in Windows 7
Tony, Yvonne has just told me that, if someone sends her anything at work on Window's 7, she can't open it, she's on XP.
Jim.
what do you mean by "classic stuff" mate?

Seems OK...I'm now working off one of these at home
dot sr UK/024 | Packard Bell
it's Windows 7 Starter so I don't know if there's a marked difference between that and the full package - I'm sure someone better qualified than me can comment
I tell ya man, ubuntu.
if you really can't shake off the windows addiction install em both
you can run Ubuntu inside windows or alongside windows
if you want a netbook for doing 'internet' stuff Ubuntu will do everything you want to do, its linux, its many times faster, with zero viruses & zero spyware, looks and feels right, is intuitive enough that anyone thats never used any flavour of 'nix at all can turn it one and be doing stuff instantly
i download link you put up before mark for linux works ok except for downloading software etc
do you have to fully install it before you can use software.
other thing is firewall there is a one for linux but why use if no viruses etc.
working along side by side ie duel booting is this difficult to set up .
i do actualy think linux is the way to go but its getting used to using different system and the tweaks.
