just wait till Sunday dad!

What happened LOL.

We set up 2 rods each 1 with 2 hook flappers and the other pulleys with big baits for the big fish, before I even realised Lenny was 2 up with whiting and I hadn't a bite yet. Then I got my first bite and fish on, seen it when it surfaced and thought cool its a dab for the missus, (she loves a bit dab) it turned out to be a flounder, though not to worry I needed one for my species hunt.

2-1 now I thought and then Lenny is in again another whiting to make it 3-1, then my next fish again a whiting lol 3-2. We were both in next but my bite turned out to be a first for me being a lobster of 27cm, so mine don't count but Lenny's was a whiting 4-2 to the boy. Next up was me with a double shot of whiting to make it 4-4 and this is where things changed for me, Lenny went 5-4 up with a dab (YAY one for mam) and that was it, it went 5-5, 6-5, 7-5, 8-5, 9-5 to me.

Last chuck of the day and Lenny was in with his 6th and last fish of the day, 9-6 to me and a cracking days fishing.

Sadly no big fish on the big rods.

Shush JulioGeordio its secret location haha, yeah mate it was indeed the walkway, bit of a pain if you don't like whiting but we do so took a few home for the table.

Its out the way of the hordes on the pier aswell, I was chatting to the lad who caught the 4-1/2lb lobster a few months back, nice fella if your on here hi mate.
