winter clothing

re Titan

I have heard many other people with negative comments, & it's a shame as they used to be so good but they are years behind in design & the outer material seems thin & cheap.

I bought a pair of Titantex salopettes, when I returned them after a soaking a member of the tackle shop staff referred to them as the "titan sponge".

A few people have told me the titan gear went down hill after they started using titantex.

well , ive decided im going to splash out pretty soon on some new gear fore the winter as my 8yr old 2pc sundridge floaty has become unbearable.
i would be interested to hear from anyone whos splashed out recently on soime of the latest gear and whats worth having.
ideally , i would like something 2pc lightweight , mobile and super warm.
cash doesnt come into it coz if its quality ill buy it.
i was looking at the shimano beastmaster range but dont like buying clothing online and cant seem to fing and local dealers.
cheers
mick
I have the two piece Fladen and can't fault it, I normally leave the coat unfastened until I reach my mark and then fasten it once the bait is doing it's bit. Warm as toast but still reasonably light, good value for money as well.
