and me and the dog had the whole of Tynemouth beach to ourselves, let the world cup take all year. Unfortunately Australia beat England at rugby. Anybody see the opening ceremony, probably the only part of the world cup I would watch, a wonderful colourful spectacle ruined by that ITV commentator speaking over everyhting, repeating what others had already said, and they missed the South African prime minesters speach.

I agree, I think I had the whole of Druridge to myself last night, everyone else must have been watching the football thing on TV, and driving up there at 8pm, the roads were empty. Bliss!
