alright, been trawling over the net last night for ages trying to find what the world record is for a shore caught cod, as to no avail so far, been onto IGFA's site and couldn't find it, anybody know where a world shore caught record list lives
Think it could be 54lb, I recall this figure was in the mags a few years ago but dont know if its boat caught or shore, i know the British record was around the 44lb mark.....may be wrong hope you find out.
lad on wsf on phils blog in the european section saying at least hes still got the british record, been trying to find out myself and from what ive found, the existing record was beet 3 times by Dave and Nicky on our trip:question:![]()
Didn't Ken Robinson get a 44lb 'er from Balcary a few years back ?
I'm sure that was a Scottish record, not sure about a UK record.
