When you have finished your session and not going to be out for a while do you throw your worm in the water?i always empty the container into the sea i wonder if they survive or just become worm or crab food

Funny if the farmed worm returned back to the sea and survived to be wild. Often thought about that when discarding bait not needed.

Now there's a good question Phil. I have done the same. But always wondered if it was worth fishing the mark 20 mins after dumping the worms as they should attract everything around.

i dont think the farmed stuff wud survive i might be wrong but the wild stuff if it has a chance may make its way into the sand or mud etc depends where ya dump it

I could dump worn in before sesh as putting the ****ers on my hooks is making nil difference:mad:

Yea ground bait tried at marsden put wild rag on the water line it burried itself so maybe survived? I can imagine the less healthy stuff would survive but i keep my bait in sea water when fishing for a long session. its got to be better of in the sea than just put in the bin

Well we'll see mate, Ive got a good feeling for this winter, besides I like the walk mate, remember walking lol

I always hoped i could turn where ever i was dumping my worm into a worm bed when i was young;un :D:D

Now I expect they get it eat within a few minutes bless them
