just started catching them today on s/s pier but just in drips @drabs.tight lines.ps not me catching,but information from good contact.

I have also had to purchase them this year, first in about 12 years...not a thing 2-11 miles out on Sunday and tried every stop btu did find shoals of 1lb coalie.

fished for many years with Tynemouth AC, won quite a few leagues etc, also fly fished, had my own boat which I trailed all over, mainly around the Mull of Galloway, Port Patrick where I hunted tope, and was probably one of the first private boat owners to fish the wrecks off this coast, when getting a box of cod was no problem, I bet plenty on here would love to get my wreck co ordinate book. Would still be doing it if arthristis and back problems hadn't stopped me. Just do a bit of carp, taken five carp over 20lb, two on the fly, and silver fish fishing when away at caravan in North Yorks, and a little dabble when on holiday at Lanzarotte.
