xmas day

well went out for my xmas session n decided as the wind was so strong that i would only cycle down

as far as st peters basin just so i wouldnt have so far t get back against wind any way got the gear out for 11 45 n within 10 mins my rod was bouncin all over the place nice little flounder result

second cast same result another flounder

this 1 had a strange lump on its head managed t get 4 small codling 1 nice sized whiting and another size flounder later during session all fish bar 1 came on my carp rod baited with maki strip which meant they gave a canny fight other fish took a big lug bait on my heavy gear

all in all was a cracking session for xmas day, was that warm spent most of the day in shorts unlike last year when i fished n it was -10 seen a lad fishing opposite me at goose green boat club n another lad under high level bridge n he said he had had a few as i cycled past on way home

well done seams like ya enjoyed ya sesh, i no its mild for time of year but fishing in shorts all day is a bit barmy isnt it ? lol or where ya sweting off riding ya push iron in the force 9 sowestly .

sounds mental fishing in shorts in the middle of winter,well done for having the guts to peddle in that wind,nwell done on the fish.
