Been thinking about treating myself one of those rods and wondered if anyone has tried one ? Feel great in the shop in my view but would be great to hear any experiences from users.

I was thinking of getting one but been told you can't remove reel seat

Do you not like the reel seat that's fitted mate ? Or is it non-adjustable ? I don't think it would matter for me because I use fixed spool in the high position. Sorry if it's a daft question.

I wanted to move the reel seat down mate so should be fine for you hurd nothing but good things about them

Thanks mate, I like a long rod, fixed spool and braid set up and currently use a Penn Affinity. Which is great but that Q7 seems to have a bit more backbone to me. I am hoping it would be better for the winter fishing.

ive got one for sale in as new condition

I've bought a rod off Peter before and can vouch for him, he looks after his kit and is a good bloke to deal with

Thanys Stewart, I would have bought that one for sure but its a 14 foot, and I fancy the longer one.
