It’s with great sadness I am letting this site and it’s members know my dear husband David passed away this morning after a heart attack. He spent so much time on this site and his love of sea fishing has brought him so much happiness over the years. Thank you to those of you who have enriched his life over the years. Hug your loved ones close tonight.

Just taken delivery of the Predator which has been in the north east for some time now. Spent a few weeks carrying out some essential modifications and upgrades , including full hull paint, prop’ repair and balance, wiring mods, lighting mods, deck wash, phone chargers, WIFI, and other stuff to add o the comfort of our guests. hope you are keeping well and coping with the continued lockdown. We’re doing nothing apart from decorating, gardening (though it’s snowing) and I’m not really golfing as I can’t be arsed with all this booking online and I’m then faced with playing with a load of boring old farts. Have now got a mobile phone courtesy of a Xmas present but, so far, have managed to spend 15p on 1 text. 15p per text???? Sod that. Fishing is booked for the 21st August if you fancy a dabble. Let me know and I’ll try to sort it.

Don’t know how accurate you not being on the board since December, being super mod and all that but I’ll give it a go. You know Stevie, South Shields lad, friend at one time of Terry Woods, triple bypass 2 or 3 years ago, got tyres in the river? Two questions.....do you know how he is and do you know his surname? Rod has been trying to get in touch with him but he’s not picking up his phone.
If you do get this I hope you are well and still showing Bert how it’s done.

shimano beast master 1000

shimano all day for me.

fixed spool. used shimano 1. if it goes wrong send it to shimano uk. labour free just pay for parts had a shimano ultegra since 1998 still going strong had it in thailand 45mins to get giant Mekong catfish out. just bought a beast master 1000 67 pound cant believe what a quality piece of kit. heard of pens bail arm breaking. reel seat bit breaking.

I know i have been very quiet lately on nesa i have been going out a lot actually but been a bit disheartened by the lack of posts it seems the same lads are putting pists on here yet we have lots more members who dont so come on lads spread the joy and share your experiences i for one am going to try a lot harder in the new year happy new year everyone

theres a topic also on,about shots to fish,around our areas.
as said some GREAT members on it.
theres also a few compotisions to enter {its free},most of all its great banter,aswell as plenty catch reports.

I've been away from fishing for a couple of years now, but the times right foe another go (thank god I kept my gear). Going to give the cliffs a go, but I've lost my link to the mark's map. I'm sure I got it off here. It was 2 pages from GOOGLE mAPS and covered Northumberland down to Hartlepool I think. Anyone still have the link?
