    king prawns

    Caught 4 codling to 4lb on Sunday night and 1 had 3 prawns in its belly, so they do take them. Other 3 were empty so I guess they must have just come on the feed. Steve F

    Well done mate, thinking of fishing there on Monday. Someone mentioned that coalies don't have a size limit.....!!!! according to the National Federation of Sea Anglers (NFSA) they do, same as a Cod @ 35cm. Good luck Guys SteveF

    Aye, it's sometimes difficult to distinguish plaice & flounders this time of year but they are about. I've had two from blyth pier but that was early January. They should be out in deeper water spawning now returning late April but I guess the littluns must stay local - who knows with this funny...
