Had a trip out on famous yesterday and had a canny day caught about 7 myself and returned about the same amount
I think there was about 40 fish on board the biggest was just over 12lb

Hi all,

at last something to write about we ventured out today with windy conditions and hope that things have got to improve surely
so off we went straight to the rough ground as was was to windy for the wrecks and at last fish started coming aboard slowly but in a steady fashion
most of the fish were 2-3lb with the odd bigger one but we are always grateful for what ever we are given then eventually there was a shout for the gaff could this be true but yes what a nice surprise a very nice cod just over the 12lb mark well done lucky angler

most tactics fished today squid baits fished pirks fished and of course shads were working well but what colour Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
well the secret to success lol

all I used were shads and plenty caught around the boat on shads
hope this helps

Cheers mate. We had a couple on shads on Sunday. Most fish on rag or squid.
