fished tynemouth other night slow session untill i hooked this cracker gave a mint fight.

Lovely Fish. Those look like Digital Scales & Show 8 point 7lb. In old money that will be 8lb 11oz approximately. Well done.:thumbup:

Just a small point the scales in the picture say 8lbs 7oz lol.
Still a cracking fish

some say 8.5 mean 8.8

so 8.7 mean could mean aroun 8.11

just seen thread above me saying the same

why do some people have to nit pick 8.7 ---8.11 does it really matter stiil a niiice fish

Digital Scales are generally calibrated to measure in Decimals ie 1.5lb is 1lb 8oz. Might sound nit picking but most want to work with pounds & ounces and a lot of folk assume 1.5 is 1lb 5oz.
